Coach Jay Gruden relayed Monday that if Colt McCoy (neck sprain) can't play Sunday against the Giants, Griffin would get the start at QB for Washington.
McCoy's status for the contest remains cloudy at this early stage of the week, though Gruden's announcement Monday does at least clarify that Kirk Cousins is not in the team's Week 15 starting QB conversation.
