Citing two sources, ESPN's John Clayton reports free agent Tarvaris Jackson will head to Seattle "in the next day or two" to "possibly" sign a contract with the Seahawks. Clayton writes that "it's not known" how a Jackson signing would affect current Russell Wilson backup Brady Quinn, but we have a pretty good feeling T-Jack would beat out Quinn for the No. 2 job. Jackson was the Seahawks' starter in 2011 and earned the respect of teammates for playing hurt. He'd be an excellent addition as a backup and is very familiar with OC Darrell Bevell.
