Chris Rainey was cited for defiant trespass when he entered the Meadows Racetrack and Casino outside Washington, Pennsylvania in December. Rainey was apparently a degenerate gambler, as he had signed himself onto a self-exclusion list allowing himself to be banned from that facility and others. Rainey had also been arrested and accused of a felony stalking charge in Florida in 2010 after threatening a woman and texting "Time to die." GM Kevin Colbert termed Rainey's Thursday arrest "extremely disappointing," confirming that the tailback's "conduct" was the reason for his release.
