Charles will be ready for an expanded workload once the Chiefs return from their bye week, ESPN's Adam Teicher reports.
EDGE Analysis
Charles was initially planned to make his season debut in Week 6 against the Raiders, which comes after this week's bye, but with Charcandrick West (ankle) sidelined Sunday, he was fast-tracked to an active status versus the Steelers. While Charles only got two touches and didn't play much at all due to the blowout nature of Sunday night's game, he says he's immediately ready for extended work. Now that he has one game under his belt, and another week to ramp up his activity, Charles should be more of a factor when the Chiefs reconvene next week, which obviously bodes well for fantasy owners and the Kansas City offense alike.
