CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports impending free agent Fred Davis is facing a six-game suspension. La Canfora indicates it's a violation of the league's substance-abuse policy. At the end of the 2011 season, Davis was banned four games for a failed drug test. Davis, 28, played sparingly for Washington this past season, registering just seven catches for 70 yards and a touchdown in ten games of action. He's not going to be re-signed and is now one strike away from a yearlong ban.

the guy sure loves his weed. he was a FA last year too and he only got 2 offers for league minimum. he opted to take the skins offer because he would not need to move. after this last season, he probably tossed in the towel and rolled a fatty. the guy was always late and fell asleep in meeting all the time so i doubt anyone would make an offer anyway.
