Cassel finished the 2015 season with 1276 passing yards and a 5:7 TD:INT ratio in eight games.
EDGE Analysis
His 58.3 percent completion rate and 6.3 YPA were also poor, and he eventually lost the starting job to Kellen Moore, who wasn't much better. Given the struggles the Cowboys had this season when Tony Romo went down, expect them to address their backup QB position in a significant way in the offseason, either in the draft or by acquiring an upgrade elsewhere.

best part of the cowboys is the GM. with Romo getting old and beat up, JJ still talks of "rolling the dice" on re-tread QB's to back Romo up. my advice would be to start preparing for life after Romo instead of getting the best box of band-aids left on the shelf.
