Browns signed RB Armond Smith to the practice squad. Smith was waived earlier this week when the Browns signed RB Chris Ogbonnaya to add depth behind Montario Hadesty with Peyton Hillis (hamstring) missing an entire week of practice. To make room on the roster the team released Xavier Omon from the practice squad.
