Brockel (ankle) has been ruled out for the Panthers' next two games. Brockel suffered an ankle injury during last Sunday's game and will now add to the woes in the Panthers' running game. Although Brockel isn't a ball-carrier, his blocking ability at tight end and full back is very useful in Carolina's offense, especially with Mike Tolbert (leg) out. Nonetheless, Brockel will now be sidelined for at least a couple of weeks.
