Brees completed 25 of 44 attempts for 228 yards and an interception in Sunday's loss to the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
The Saints offense was held in check by the rejuvenated Texans defense, and Brees put up his second lowest yardage total of the season, while failing to connect on a touchdown pass for the first time. The veteran has struggled in the two outings since his statistical eruption in Weeks 8 and 9, with three interceptions and an average of less than 220 yards per game. Brees will attempt to get back on track in next week's home matchup with the first-place panthers.

A smothering Texans defense held him out of the end zone for the first time this year, and an even better Panthers unit will challenge him in the same way.
