Brees completed 25 of 41 passes for 257 yards and no touchdowns with three interceptions in Sunday's 16-11 loss to the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
Expected to bounce back from a dismal performance last week against the Lions, Brees found the going even tougher, managing his second-lowest yardage output of the season while throwing three interceptions for the second straight game. He saw his team drop to 5-8 with this latest loss, all but guaranteeing they miss the playoffs this season, and he will look to rebound next week against the Cardinals as he looks to close the season out on a high note.

This is starting to look like the Payton Fade. Say hello to old age, Mr. Brees.

I said the same thing before the season started. It just took a little longer than I expected.

Never heard of it. do you really play FF?

Brees is the best fantasy QB and his QB rating and completion % is top in the league also. You guys are tools. Maybe the HC is gone but Brees still has 5+ years left

Wow, stats AND personal insults. Impressive! Brees is going to play until he is 43-44, huh? Payton was 39. Favre was 41. Both were gassed. I think you guys should ride him to the bitter end. You will do well in the regular season then flop in the playoffs as the guy gets gassed.Sam Bradford is leading in completion % but Brees is close. Brees also leads in yards but is only ahead of Ryan and. Cousins by about 150 yards but Brees has also thrown the ball 50 more times. Can you ride that old mans arm any harder? He is 3rd most in picks this year the 0 TD's and 6 picks in the last two games sure looks a lot like Payton of 2013 AND 2014. Not just great but epic for 10 or 11 games then SPLAT!

Love auto correct on phones, lol

New Orleans D is horrible. Puts them behind a lot of the time. Dudes gotta throw the ball. Stats don't always tell the story. The only one that really matters in FF is fantasy points and IDK about your league, but mine he's ranked #1 this year still. Detroit and Tampa Bay are pretty good this year with good D's just in case you hadn't noticed. Sure father time is undefeated, but your acting like brees just suddenly turned into the 2015 peyton manning when he plays a good D lol. Give the guy a break, he's been putting up 300 3TDs for 10 years now.

You really put him and Bradford in the same sentence? SMH

joegibbskins07 Tue 12/13/16 6:41 AM

just stating the stats, i dont chose the names on the stat sheet, lol.

i agree with everything you said. its all true. my point is that Payton was #1 too until the very bitter end of two epic seasons. the age is about the same and now the results are starting to look the same around the same time of the season. the only real difference is the Saints Suck! Saints play the Cardinals, Bucs again and the Falcons. my bet is he does poorly in two of the last 3 games, even as his FF rank is #1.

just a thought, i wish you the best in the playoffs.
