Bernard rushed 15 times for 80 yards and caught five passes on eight targets for 21 yards Sunday against the Seahawks.
EDGE Analysis
Bernard vastly outplayed Jeremy Hill, who rushed eight times for 13 yards and caught one pass for 12 yards, and he appears the be the top option in the two-back set. Hill can still poach some goal-line touches here and there, but Bernard looks like the one who will get the initial reps before Hill gets his opportunities. Bernard has rushed at least 13 times in four straight games, though he has just one touchdown on the season. Up next is a Week 6 trip to face the Bills before a Week 7 bye.

Boy the life of a starting RB in the NFL!

Hill looked terrible yesterday! He sat the entire 4Q/OT. Marvin has said Gio is the guy when behind, but Gio was the only one who could hit the lanes all day. I'd take Burkhead over Hill at this point!
