Bernard (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Bernard's season ends after he tore his ACL in Sunday's loss to the Bills. In 10 games, he racked up 337 yards on 91 attempts, finding the end zone twice. He also recorded 39 receptions for 336 yards and a touchdown. It's been a dismal season for the Bengals thus far, as they head into Week 12 without Bernard and their biggest offensive weapon, A.J. Green (hamstring). Jeremy Hill, who has split carries with Bernard all season, will now take on the role of true No. 1 back. Look for Rex Burkhead to assume the role of the No. 2 back as he remains the only other healthy option on the active roster.
