Austin turned a team-leading 15 targets into 10 receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's game versus the Giants. He also gained 10 yards on his only carry of the 17-10 loss.
EDGE Analysis
Austin reached double-digit receptions in a game for the first time in his career, but his lackluster 5.7 yards per attempt capped what could have been a much bigger day. The attention he receives from Case Keenum is encouraging given his big-play ability, but Austin is averaging just 42.7 yards per game this season. The Rams will enjoy a bye in Week 8 before taking on the Panthers the following Sunday.
