Allen (hip) caught 9-of-13 targets for 89 yards in Sunday's 37-29 loss to the Raiders. He established an NFL record for the most receptions in seven games, with 62 catches.
EDGE Analysis
Allen was less than 100 percent, but was able to gut it out, producing several tough grabs. He actually scored a touchdown late in the game, but was flagged for a push off on a controversial call. Philip Rivers once again didn't have a lot of time to throw, behind a shaky offensive line, so it might have been a bigger game for Allen. The third-year wideout has been a target monster this season, with 84 looks in seven games, so assuming he didn't suffer any setbacks with his hip injury, he should be very productive next week at Baltimore, which has been terrible at defending the pass in 2015.
