Spillman posted a photo to his Instagram account that showed him with his right arm in a sling with the caption: "Fresh outta surgery ready to get my recovery together now!" Beat writer Matt Barrows confirms the special teams ace needed hand surgery. Spillman played just 79 defensive snaps last season.
