Selvie (knee) is not expected to play in Saturday's preseason game, the New York Daily News' Ralph Vacchiano reports.
EDGE Analysis
He suffered the knee injury in practice last week and is obviously still recovering. Consider Selvie questionable for the Giants' final preseason game next week.

Selvie signed a one-year, $1.4 million contract with the Giants, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Selvie started 29 of the 32 games he played for the Cowboys over the past two seasons, piling up 60 tackles and 10 sacks over that stretch. The 28-year-old probably won't be a starter or an IDP option in 2015, but the Giants found a nice bargain to improve their defensive line depth. There is some chance Selvie could compete with Damontre Moore and/or Robert Ayers (pectoral) for the starting spot opposite Jason Pierre-Paul.

Selvie had five tackles and a sack in the Cowboys' win over the Seahawks on Sunday. It's his first sack of the season. The Dallas defensive line has been an IDP wasteland so far this season, but at least for one game Selvie was able to regain his 2013 form.

Selvie (shoulder) is active for Sunday's game versus the 49ers, Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News reports. Selvie will line up as one of the starting defensive ends in a defense devoid of the departed DeMarcus Ware. With more pass rushing opportunities available, Selvie has a great chance to surpass his seven sacks from a season ago.

Selvie (shoulder) is probable for Sunday's game against San Francisco. Selvie practiced fully Friday, so he'll serve as one of Dallas' starting ends against San Francisco. While he flashed a bit of IDP potential a year ago, he's probably no more than a DL4 consideration in most formats for the time being.

Selvie (shoulder) will be limited during Wednesday's practice, The Dallas Morning News reports. Selvie enjoyed a breakout season under defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli last year, starting all 16 games en route to 45 tackles and seven sacks. Entering this season as perhaps the Cowboys' best edge-rusher, Selvie unfortunately re-injured his surgically repaired left shoulder during Dallas' second preseason game. The defensive end has not played since, so his involvement throughout practice this week should help project his Week 1 status for this Sunday versus the 49ers.

Selvie (shoulder) wasn't able to practice on Monday, the Dallas Morning News reports. He's been out since the Cowboys' third preseason game after re-injuring his surgically-repaired right shoulder. Selvie was able to do some work on the side, but at this point his status for Week 1 is up in the air.

Selvie, who was forced to the sidelines early in Saturday's preseason game, says his shoulder is "good", ESPN Dallas reports. Selvie landed on his surgically repaired shoulder Saturday night and did not return following an early game exit. While the defensive end is scheduled to be re-examined Sunday, Selvie downplayed any injury concern. If tests confirm Selvie is fine, he could still sit out Dallas' preseason finale to ensure he's ready for Week 1.

Selvie left Saturday's preseason game against the Dolphins due to a right shoulder injury, The Dallas Morning News reports. Selvie, who has dealt with a groin injury for the past few weeks, had surgery on his left shoulder during the offseason. He was previously on track to be ready for Week 1, and while the injury is at least to his other shoulder, it may still throw a hitch in those plans. Selvie immediately took himself out of Saturday's game after suffering the injury. If he isn't ready by Week 1, it could free up more playing time for Tyrone Crawford.

Selvie (groin) returned to practice on Tuesday, the Dallas Morning News reports. There's no word yet on whether he'll play Saturday in the Cowboys' second preseason game, but it looks like Selvie should be fine for Week 1.
