Fred Davis was held without a catch in Week 6 against the Cowboys. The Redskins listed Logan Paulsen as the starter over Davis again this week and he was removed from the majority of their base packages. He doesn't have a role on offense and is behind Jordan Reed for passing down snaps. Davis is not worth owning in re-draft leagues.

Fred Davis (ankle) is listed as probable for Week 6. Davis practiced in full this week and will play in Sunday night's game against the Cowboys. With Jordan Reed (probable, quad) cleared to return, he remains off the fantasy radar and is not worth owning in re-draft leagues.

Fred Davis (ankle) practiced in full Monday. Davis did play through the injury in Week 4, but saw one target even though Jordan Reed (quad) was inactive. Both tight ends should be far healthier as the Skins come out of their bye. Davis is not a fantasy option as he started losing significant snaps to Reed beginning in Week 2.

Fred Davis (ankle) was active for Week 4 against the Raiders, but finished without a catch. He barely saw the field and was targeted once. Davis will try to use the Redskins' Week 5 bye to get his ankle right. When the team emerges from its open date, Davis will still not be worth owning in 12-team fantasy leagues.

Fred Davis is active for Week 4 against the Raiders. Davis is hobbled by an ankle injury, and it's not clear how much he'll play. The rest of the Redskins' Week 4 inactives are K Kai Forbath, TE Jordan Reed, QB Rex Grossman, G/C Josh LeRibeus, S Jose Gumbs, OLB Brandon Jenkins, and DE Phillip Merling.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Fred Davis (ankle) and Jordan Reed (groin) are both expected to be inactive for Week 4 at Oakland. Logan Paulsen is expected to be Washington's starting tight end today.

Fred Davis (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 4 against the Raiders. Davis is expected to play, but has six targets through three games and is waiver-wire fodder in 10- and 12-team fantasy leagues.

Fred Davis (ankle) remained limited in Redskins practice Thursday. In theory, it puts Davis on track to suit up Sunday against the Raiders, but an upgrade to "full" on Friday would be preferable. The fact that Davis is practicing at all casts doubt on his claim this his sprain is of the "high" variety. With both Davis and Jordan Reed banged up, the Redskins aren't going to get any production out of the tight end spot this weekend.

Fred Davis (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday. Davis was able to practice despite suffering a high-ankle sprain in Sunday's loss to the Lions. He doesn't expect to miss any time with the injury, but is still looking questionable for Week 4.

Fred Davis says he has a high ankle sprain, but is aiming to play in Week 4. Davis sustained the injury during last Friday's practice and was inactive in Week 3. If he truly has a high ankle sprain, he'd be very doubtful for Week 4. Meanwhile, Jordan Reed's (quad) status remains murky.
