The balloon reportedly hit a set of power lines, and Stallworth is in stable condition after suffering burns. His girlfriend was also in the balloon at the time of the accident. It's unclear if she was injured. ESPN's Adam Schefter says Stallworth should make a full recovery and be able to resume his career.

The Patriots have reportedly shown interest in free agent Donte' Stallworth. Any deal is expected to be "on the backburner," but the Pats won't have much competition. Stallworth is a 32-year-old straight-line deep threat with 24 catches over the past three seasons. He should be available for the NFL minimum.
