Bryant indicated via Twitter on Sunday that he's interested in playing for New England or Washington, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.
EDGE Analysis
It remains to be seen if either team will roll the dice on the veteran wideout now that Week 1 has kicked off and any contract Bryant signs won't carry the same guarantees as if he had been on an opening-day roster. It's worth noting that the Patriots waived wide receivers Riley McCarron and Chad Hansen on Monday, but they've also kicked the tires on free agents Brandon Reilly and Kendall Wright, so those moves don't necessarily point to potential interest in Bryant.

The Browns could re-engage with Bryant on contract negotiations at some point next week, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cleveland reached out to Bryant early in training camp about a potential deal, but bringing the veteran into the fold became less of a priority for the team when Josh Gordon was activated from the Non-Football Injury list Aug. 25. While Gordon is expected to be ready to play in Sunday's season opener against the Steelers, adding Bryant to the receiver room next week would still have some appeal for the Browns due to the lower financial consequences at stake. Contracts for vested veterans like Bryant are only fully guaranteed through Week 1, so the Browns would only have to guarantee 25 percent of his salary in the event the wideout joined the team at a later date. It's worth noting that Bryant has stated this offseason that he's eager to sign with a contender, which may limit his interest in joining a Browns squad that, while seemingly on the rise, has gone 1-31 over the past two seasons.

Bryant still expects to play football this year, but he admits it may not happen until later in the season.
EDGE Analysis
Bryant turned down an offer from the Ravens during the offseason and wasn't able to reach an agreement after meeting with the Browns a couple weeks ago. He's otherwise struggled to draw interest since the Cowboys released him in mid-April, with teams perhaps turned off by his strong personality and lack of recent production. The 29-year-old may be worthy of a bench stash in deep leagues, but there's little reason to expect any contribution in September.

Bryant isn't a priority for the Browns at the moment, May Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
After meeting with the team Thursday and Friday and entering into contract negotiations, Bryant doesn't appear to be close to signing with a new organization. The wideout is looking for a one-year, "prove-it" deal and desires playing for a contender, so the Browns may not be the best landing spot after back-to-back win-less campaigns. Complicating matters somewhat in Cleveland is the return of Josh Gordon, who missed training camp due to personal reasons. Coach Hue Jackson said the two aren't connected, but the ship may have sailed on Bryant inking with the Browns.

Bryant left Cleveland without a contract, but he'll continue discussions with the Browns, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bryant may not be satisfied with the money being offered, or he may just want to see what else is available around the league. There isn't much evidence of other teams having interest, apart from the Ravens offering him a contract in April. That ship sailed after Baltimore signed Willie Snead, but there are obviously still teams that could use help at wide receiver, including the Titans, Seahawks, Cardinals and Bills. The best bet seems to be Cleveland, where the uncertainty surrounding Josh Gordon and Antonio Callaway leaves the Browns in a tricky spot.

Bryant is reportedly optimistic about getting a deal done with the Browns, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Per the report, the free agent pass-catcher hopes to sign a one-year "prove-it'" deal with Cleveland. If that's accurate, it's something that can and probably should happen, with the Browns dealing with some uncertainly at wide receiver behind Jarvis Landry.

Bryant is scheduled to meet with the Browns on Thursday, Dianna Russini of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bryant revealed his intention to meet with Cleveland last week when he said he was still in the process of getting ready for the season but would soon be ready to find a team. The Browns became an obvious fit after Corey Coleman was traded and Antonio Callaway was cited for marijuana possession -- not to mention Josh Gordon's continued absence for personal reasons. Cleveland could still end up being a tough situation for target volume, as Gordon may return before Week 1 and Callaway may be able to avoid or delay a suspension. With Jarvis Landry, Duke Johnson and David Njoku also demanding targets, Bryant would be a long shot to match his accustomed volume from Dallas. Of course, that will probably be the case regardless of his ultimate landing spot, as it's evident front offices around the league no longer view the 29-year-old as a special player.

Bryant tweeted Thursday that he will begin visiting teams next week, including the Browns.
EDGE Analysis
Bryant doesn't seem to be in too much of a hurry, saying he's still in the process of getting himself ready for the upcoming season. Cleveland became an obvious fit after Corey Coleman was traded to Buffalo and Antonio Callaway was cited for marijuana possession, but Bryant also figures to weigh other options in his search for a new team. The 29-year-old is believed to be seeking a one-year contract.

Bryant was spotted at the Patriots' training camp Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The timing of Bryant's visit with New England is interesting given the team's placement of Jordan Matthews (hamstring) on injured reserve earlier Monday. The Patriots also recently worked out another veteran receiver in Eric Decker, though he left the facility without a contract. While it isn't yet clear if Bryant has left unsigned as well, the ex-Cowboy would seemingly be a great fit in a New England offense that doesn't have a clear No. 2 wideout for the first four weeks of the regular season.

Browns general manager John Dorsey said his team has discussed adding Bryant, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dorsey seems to be referring to internal discussions rather than any specific contact with Bryant or his agent. Released by Dallas in mid-April, the 29-year-old wideout remains unsigned as players around the league report for the start of training camp. Bryant prefers to ink a one-year contract and hit the open market again next offseason, but he'd probably be hesitant to sign in Cleveland, where he might only be the third fiddle behind Josh Gordon (personal) and Jarvis Landry. Of course, the discussion would change drastically if Gordon's absence from training camp were to turn into a larger issue.
