Goldson re-signed Tuesday with the Falcons, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the Falcons placing Kemal Ishmael (shoulder) on injured reserve, Goldson, who was previously waived by Atlanta in October, will rejoin the team to help restore some depth at safety. The former All-Pro is just a backup player at this stage of his career, so don't expect him to play many snaps over the final two weeks of the regular season.

Goldson (coaches decision) is inactive for Monday's matchup with the Saints.
EDGE Analysis
Goldson has been limited be a hamstring injury recently, which is likely the reason for his inactive status. While he has been able to suit up the first two weeks of the season, he played a very limited role.

Goldson (hamstring) is active Sunday versus the Bucs.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran safety will suit up against one of his former teams, despite being limited the last two practice days of the week. Goldson will back up starting strong safety Kemal Ishamel.

Goldson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's season opener against the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran defensive back was limited in practice for the second consecutive day Friday, as he deals with a hamstring issue. With Keanu Neal already ruled out, Goldson is the only backup behind starting strong safety Kemal Ishmael. If Goldson cannot go the Falcons will be stretched thin at both safety positions.

Goldson (hamstring) was limited in practice on Thursday, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Goldson was brought in the final week of the preseason to give the Falcons some assurance at safety with rookie Keanu Neal (knee) sidelined for a couple weeks. Look for more updates to come in the next few days as the team prepares to take on the Buccaneers on Sunday. Goldson and fellow safety Kemal Ishmael (shoulder) are both questionable for Sunday, which could leave the Falcons with a sizable hole in their secondary if neither is cleared to play.

Goldson signed a contract with the Falcons on Sunday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
After first-round pick Keanu Neal suffered a knee injury that will cost him between 3-to-4 weeks, the Falcons needed some additional help at safety, so they've opted to bring in Goldson. The nine-year veteran spent the 2015 campaign with the Redskins, notching 11 takles, one forced fumble and an interception over 15 games. He should slot in as a depth option behind Kemal Ishmael until Neal is healthy.

Goldson has been released by the Redskins, CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Goldson joins a number of former Redskins teammates in leaving the team this offseason, as the team looks to free up salary cap space. Despite the $8 million he was owed this coming season, Goldson is coming off a career-high 110 tackles to go with one interception this past season. With that sort of production, the 31-year-old should garner significant interest on the open market.

Goldson (shoulder/rib) is listed as active Sunday against the Packers.
EDGE Analysis
Although sore ribs forced limited showings in practice this week, Goldson will assume his typical spot at strong safety, from which he tallied 110 tackles (72 solo), two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble, and a pick-six in 15 games this season.

Goldson (ribs/shoulder) is considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Packers, ESPN's John Keim reports.
EDGE Analysis
Goldson missed the Redskins' regular season finale against the Cowboys and still appears to be suffering from some soreness in his ribs, but could still make the start Sunday, depending on how he feels during warm-ups. If Goldson is unable to play, the Redskins will likely fill his spot with some combination of DeAngelo Hall and Jeron Johnson.
