Daniel Fells caught three passes for 47 yards in Sunday's loss to the Chargers. The majority of Fells' yardage came on a 31-yard completion with just seconds left on the clock. Fells has just 11 catches through five games as the Broncos head into their bye.

Daniel Fells caught three passes for 32 yards on six targets in Week 1 against the Raiders. Fells is a below-average as both a blocker and receiver, but he appears to be a favorite target for Kyle Orton. Still, he won't get enough looks in John Fox's offense to have any fantasy value.

Daniel Fells is listed as the No. 1 tight end on Denver's initial depth chart. It speaks to how raw the Broncos are at tight end. Fells is slow as a receiver and is not a quality blocker, but he's ahead of Richard Quinn and Dan Gronkowski. He won't play every down and isn't a fantasy option in John Fox's run-first offense.

Broncos agreed to terms with TE Daniel Fells on a one-year contract. Denver's tight end picture is now crowded, which is bad news for Dan Gronkowski and possibly even reputed blocking specialist Richard Quinn. Fells is expected to get the first shot at the starting job, but he offers little blocking and even less after-the-catch burst. He won't be a fantasy option with the Broncos.

Free agent TE Daniel Fells will visit with the Broncos Friday. If Fells doesn't leave Denver with a deal, he'll continue on to Tennessee. The Seahawks and Rams are also reportedly showing interest, but this might just be a case of an agent drumming up buzz. Fells is a below-average NFL tight end.

The Titans are showing interest in free agent TE Daniel Fells. Tennessee is reportedly one of multiple teams in the mix. Based on Fells' 2010 performance, we're surprised anyone would want him. He's looked awfully slow and mistake prone with the football in his hands. In Tennessee, Fells would compete for a roster spot behind Jared Cook and Craig Stevens.
