Coleman (hand) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Coleman will be on the Browns' injured reserve after undergoing surgery on his broken right hand. The wideout will now be eligible to return after eight weeks, so the soonest he'll be able to play again will be Nov. 12 against the Lions. In his absence, the Browns are expected to use Kenny Britt, Rashard Higgins and Ricardo Louis as their top options at wide receiver, with Sammie Coates also potentially seeing some extended action.

Coleman (hand) likely will be placed on injured reserve, which would allow him to return Nov. 12 against the Lions, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coleman had successful surgery Monday to repair a fractured metacarpal in his right hand. The silver lining is that it's not the same bone he broke last season, and the Browns seemingly hope to get him back in November or December. A stint on injured reserve is all but assured, considering the team doesn't figure to be in a position where it makes any sense to rush Coleman back. In the meantime, the Browns figure to deploy Kenny Britt, Rashard Higgins and Ricardo Louis -- in some order -- as their top three wideouts. Britt was benched in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Ravens, which allowed Sammie Coates to run with Higgins and Louis.

Coleman underwent successful surgery on his right hand Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The procedure was to repair a fractured metacarpal in Coleman's right hand. It remains to be seen if the Browns will place him on injured reserve, as the Baylor product is facing a six-to-eight week absence and likely won't be able to return until December.

Coleman will need surgery on his broken right hand and is out indefinitely, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coleman broke the same hand last season and missed six games despite avoiding surgery. While the Browns haven't provided a timetable, the need for surgery hints at the possibility of a longer absence this time around. The team appeared to bench Kenny Britt in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Ravens, leaving Rashard Higgins, Ricardo Louis and Sammie Coates as the regular trio in three-wide sets. Higgins took advantage with a 7-95-0 receiving line on 11 targets, making a case to serve as DeShone Kizer's top option in Coleman's absence, regardless of whether Britt retains his starting job.

Coleman has been diagnosed with a broken hand, Josina Anderson of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
As initially feared, Coleman broke the same right hand he broke last season. Oddly enough, both injuries occurred in Week 2 games against the Ravens, with last year's ailment holding him out until Week 9. A similar absence can be expected this time around, and with Kenny Britt seemingly falling out of favor fast, the Browns will need significant contributions from some combination of Rashard Higgins, Ricardo Louis, Sammie Coates, Kasen Williams and Reggie Davis. Louis served as the No. 3 receiver Week 1, but Higgins took over the role Week 2 and ultimately led the team's wideouts in snaps, targets, catches and yards.

There are fears that Coleman suffered a broken hand in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Ravens, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
EDGE Analysis
A broken hand led to a multi-week absence for Coleman last season, and now he could be faced with another one. At this stage, it hasn't been revealed whether his injury is to the same hand that affected him last year, but in any case, losing the 2016 first-rounder for any length of time would be a big blow to the Browns' wideout corps.

Coleman was spotted heading to the X-ray room after Sunday's loss to the Ravens, presumably to get a hand injury that he sustained in the contest checked out, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Coleman caught just one pass for nine yards Sunday, with Rashard Higgins (just promoted from the practice squad) actually leading the way among the team's pass-catchers, hauling in seven of 11 targets for 95 yards. If Coleman is forced to miss time, then Higgins' surprising Week 2 output could foreshadow added opportunities next weekend against the Colts.

Coleman caught five of six targets for 53 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
Coleman helped bring the Browns to within a score late in Sunday's game, snatching a quick, three-yard slant in the end zone and holding on after a punishing hit. Coleman's first season in Cleveland was ho-hum thanks to mediocre quarterback play. With the promising DeShone Kizer in the fold, there's finally hope for Browns fans and their receivers. Coleman might end up being a sneaky good buy if Kizer keeps it up, especially given the lack of formidable receiving options on the team's roster.

Coleman brought in four of eight targets for 66 yards in Saturday's 13-9 preseason win over the Bucs.
EDGE Analysis
Coleman is listed at the top of the Browns' receiver depth chart at the moment and validated that slotting with his impressive effort Saturday. The second-year wideout served as DeShone Kizer's top target on the night, bringing in a game-long 32-yard reception in the process. Along with veteran Kenny Britt, Coleman is expected to soak up a significant portion of the 140 targets that left town with Terrelle Pryor, Sr. this offseason, making him one of the more intriguing fantasy pieces among young receivers.

Coleman caught both his targets for 29 yards in Monday's preseason game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Coleman's total included a team-long reception of 20 yards. The 2016 first-rounder profiles as Cleveland's big-play wideout this season, so his performance Monday is certainly something he'll hope to build on.
