The Baltimore Sun reports free agent LT Bryant McKinnie's chances of re-signing with the Ravens are "slim." McKinnie, 34 in September, has drawn just cursory interest from the Saints since free agency opened. Baltimore also reportedly "reached out" to him, but beat writer Mike Preston doesn't think McKinnie will be re-signed unless the team is "desperate" heading into training camp.

The Dolphins have shown no interest in free agent LT Bryant McKinnie. McKinnie has "expressed interest" in playing for the Fins, but as of the weekend the feeling was not mutual. The Miami Herald's Armando Salguero does confirm the Dolphins have "considered a trade" for Chiefs LT Branden Albert. Albert and Eric Winston seem to be Miami's top two tackle targets at the moment.

A source termed the Saints' talks with free agent LT Bryant McKinnie as "general." The Saints have a gaping hole at left tackle, but are wisely not rushing into a contract with a 33-year-old with a history of conditioning issues. Aside from the Ravens, McKinnie hasn't been linked to any other teams.

Free agent LT Bryant McKinnie told WNST Baltimore that the Saints have shown interest in him. The Ravens remain in the mix to retain McKinnie, but they have company. The Saints are iffy on injury-prone in-house LT Charles Brown as Jermon Bushrod's possible replacement. McKinnie is going on age 34, but he's the best left tackle still on the free-agent market, and he shouldn't be overly expensive.

Free agent LT Bryant McKinnie says the Ravens reached out to him on Thursday. "I can't say I expect 2 (stay)," said McKinnie in a text message. "But Harbs called and then 1 of the O-Line-coaches called 10 minutes after." McKinnie, 34 in September, has drawn zero interest on the open market, and he has already said he won't take a discount to return.

Free agent LT Bryant McKinnie wants to re-sign with the Ravens. "Bryant would want to come back," his agent said. "He likes it there. He likes the situation, the way it is now. He's a free agent, so it's up to the Ravens what happens next obviously. The intention is to see what the market says." Both sides are on the record as wanting McKinnie back in Baltimore, but only if the money is right. No doubt emboldened by his strong play in the postseason, McKinnie won't be open to any sweetheart deals. That's surely what the cap-strapped Ravens will be proposing.

The Ravens are interested in re-signing impending free agent LT Bryant McKinnie. McKinnie didn't start a single game in the regular season, but he was an integral part of the offense's success in the playoffs, starting all four contests on the blindside. McKinnie says coach John Harbaugh approached him twice in the postseason about the team's desire to re-sign him after the Super Bowl. However, the Carroll County Times says it's unlikely he'll be back because McKinnie may have earned himself more money with his performance than the Ravens are able to allocate to him. McKinnie will turn 34 next September.
