Austin Pettis caught one pass for 12 yards in Week 6 against the Texans. It was Pettis' lone target. Brian Quick has been seeing increased snaps the past two weeks, which is eating into Pettis' playing time a bit. Pettis has four touchdowns on the season, but he's safe to leave on the waiver wire.

Austin Pettis had five catches for 59 yards in Thursday night's Week 4 loss to the 49ers. Pettis was targeted heavily on third downs and did the majority of his damage at the end of the first half. He has limited upside at the Z receiver position in the Rams' offense and should continue to be ignored in most fantasy formats.

Austin Pettis caught eight passes for 78 yards and a touchdown in the Rams' Week 2 loss in Atlanta. Pettis made the most of his eight targets. He's the Rams' new Brandon Gibson, a reliable receiver with strong hands but knucklehead tendencies and pedestrian talent at Z receiver. Pettis secured his score on a flat route from three yards out on third-and-goal. He offers zero fantasy value. It will likely be his best game of the season.

Austin Pettis caught three passes for 16 yards in St. Louis' Week 1 win over the Cardinals. Pettis drew the "start" opposite Chris Givens, but was out-targeted by both Tavon Austin and Jared Cook, and drew as many looks as RB Daryl Richardson (six). It was a quintessential Pettis performance, as the third-year pro offered nothing after the catch. He's not going to "start" much longer.

Austin Pettis is still listed as a starter opposite Chris Givens on the Rams' Week 1 depth chart. Pettis' t-shirt and shorts road show lasted a little deeper into camp than usual, but there's no way he holds his starter designation. He may not even operate as one in Week 1 beyond semantics. Tavon Austin, Brian Quick and possibly even Stedman Bailey are all going to give Pettis a run for his money. Pettis has 57 catches in 26 career games.

Austin Pettis remains ahead of Brian Quick on the depth chart. Per beat writer Jim Thomas, Quick has a "pretty good all-around training camp and early preseason," but has tailed off lately. The Rams are going to feature Chris Givens as their No. 1 wideout, Jared Cook as their slot guy and Tavon Austin on gadget plays/screens. Pettis is unlikely to see enough targets to be on the fantasy radar despite his starter status.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, WR Austin Pettis has arguably been the MVP of Rams offseason practices. Practicing at X and slot receiver, Pettis needs the big practices with Tavon Austin, Jared Cook, and Stedman Bailey joining the pass-catching corps. "He's probably having the best camp of all the skill players," OC Brian Schottenheimer said. "He's just a tireless worker. Very competitive. ... He's having a tremendous spring." Pettis is competing with Brian Quick for a starting job.

Austin Pettis caught three passes for 24 yards and a touchdown in Week 17 against the Seahawks. The two-yard score was Pettis' second in as many weeks. Acting as the Rams' No. 4 receiver in 2012, the second-year receiver out of Boise State caught 30 passes for 261 yards and four touchdowns. Pettis is merely a slot receiver and doesn't offer a whole lot of YAC ability, but he has a strong pair of hands that Sam Bradford trusts in the red zone. If Danny Amendola leaves as an unrestricted free agent in the offseason, Pettis seems the most likely in-house replacement in the slot. He doesn't play as big as his 6-foot-3, 207-pound frame would suggest. The Rams would be in a great deal of trouble if Pettis was playing a heavy dose of snaps, too.
