Profootballtalk.com reports Arrelious Benn will miss four weeks with a sprained MCL suffered in Friday's training camp practice. Benn is building a history of knee woes, as he also tore his left ACL in December of 2010. A former second-round pick, Benn has been an utter disappointment in Tampa, managing 55 receptions and five touchdowns through two seasons, starting 23. He was a rotational player in 2011, unable to hold off Dezmon Briscoe for every-down snaps. With a new coaching staff in town, Benn can't afford to miss significant practice reps. He's on the roster bubble.

Bucs WR Arrelious Benn is running with the third-team offense at OTAs. Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams are the starters, as expected. Preston Parker and Sammie Stroughter are running with the second team. Benn isn't going to have a major role in the Bucs offense this season. Dynasty owners faced with a roster crunch should think about cutting ties with the 2010 second-rounder.

The St. Pete Times characterizes Benn as "very questionable" to play against the Falcons, and it sounds like he probably won't. Look for Dezmon Briscoe to get the start across from Mike Williams, with Preston Parker in the slot.
