Lacy gained 123 yards on eight receptions and 59 yards on 13 carries in Sunday's 44-23 loss to the Saints. It was an odd game for Lacy, who had just 13 receptions through the first seven weeks of the season, with no more than three in any one contest. He took a screen pass 67 yards on his first catch of Sunday's game, then added a slew of short and intermediate gains throughout the rest of the contest. His carries were a bit of an adventure, as he picked up nice chunks on a few different occasions, but was also stuffed at the line quite a few times. The Packers' other running backs were barely involved, with James Stark and DuJuan Harris each getting two carries and no receptions. Harris' totes both came deep into garbage time, indicating that he still has no role in the offense in close games. Following a Week 8 bye, Lacy will continue to carry the load against a vulnerable Chicago defense in Week 9.

Lacy looked like a beast during the limited amount of carries he had. Running people over all game.

No TD's for Lacy. I lost my game by 2 points. Nelson killed me also.
