Smith completed 19-of-28 passes for 221 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 win at San Diego. He also ran six times for 29 yards. Smith looked sharp after Kansas City's bye in Week 6, completing 68 percent of his passes while posting a solid 7.9 YPA. He was starting to pick up the touchdown pace, with seven in his previous three games, but the Chiefs scored only twice as a team Sunday. In Week 8, he'll face a St. Louis squad that has allowed over 300 passing yards to Colin Kapernick and Russell Wilson in back-to-back weeks.
