Carlson (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic reports. Even though he takes the vast majority of TE reps on offense, Carlson is little more than a safety valve for Cardinals quarterbacks, whether it's Carson Palmer (shoulder) or Drew Stanton. However, Carlson's knee issue is of unknown severity, which should be monitored throughout the week in order to learn his availability Sunday in Oakland.
