Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said after Sunday's loss to the Broncos that he expects Peterson (ankle) to be okay, Darren Urban of the team's official website reports. Peterson's rough start to the season took another turn for the worse, as he was forced out of Sunday's blowout loss in the second half. Prior to the injury, he struggled against Denver wideouts Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, who combined for 327 receiving yards on 15 catches. Should Peterson miss time beyond Week 5, it would leave more playing time for Justin Bethel and Jerraud Powers, the latter of whom has been working as the nickel corner. The Cardinals might also need more snaps out of safety Tyrann Mathieu, who has thus far worked in a part-time role.
