Paulsen's teammate Niles Paul suffered a concussion during Thursday's 45-14 loss to the Giants, ESPN reports. Paul had been filling in more than capably for Jordan Reed (hamstring), who may not be ready for Week 5. As the only other tight end on Washington's roster, Paulsen could have a surprisingly large role in the offense against the Seahawks next week, if neither Reed nor Paul is able to play. However, Paulsen isn't an especially talented receiver, and shouldn't be expected to match the production of a healthy Reed or Paul. Paulsen caught 3-of-3 targets for 28 yards in Thursday's blowout loss.
