Pickett signed with the Texans on Wednesday, the Houston Chronicle reports. Pickett spent the past eight seasons with the Packers, for whom he generally disappointed with just 19 tackles (15 solo) in 16 games last season. However, with rookie Louis Nix III (knee) being placed on IR, the 34-year-old Pickett's addition gives the Texans a veteran nose tackle with experience playing in a 3-4 scheme.
