Richardson and Ahmad Bradshaw will split running back duties based on game flow, according to head coach Chuck Pagano. "From game to game, it'll be different depending on the score and how we're using different personnel groups," he told the Indianapolis Star reports. Pagano and the Colts talked about Richardson as a three-down and primary back all offseason, but the first game saw Richardson play just 29 snaps while Bradshaw played 44 snaps. Bradshaw was said to have a larger role in the two-minute offense and in the passing game, so the balance could shift if the Colts are are not playing from behind like in last week's loss. Still, Richardson's usage in week one and Pagano's retreat from calling Richardson the primary running back don't bode well for his workload going forward.
