However, coach Ron Rivera expects Olsen to return in time for drills Friday, according to Jonathan Jones of the Charlotte Observer. Olsen's family life is more important than that on the field, so he may require more than one day to deal without the non-football concern. However, Rivera believes that the tight end will be available for Sunday's contest versus the Lions, which could be confirmed, if Olsen takes part in practice Friday.
