Cadet caught the Saints' first pass of the year, but it was his only offensive touch in the team's season-opening loss in Atlanta on Sunday. In fact, Cadet was only on the field for 12 of the Saints' 75 offensive snaps, equaling Khiry Robinson's snap total, but far less than Mark Ingram (20 snaps) and Pierre Thomas (34 snaps), reports the New Orleans Times-Picayune. Cadet did, however, return one kickoff for 34 yards. Barring injury, Cadet appears locked into his role as the Saints' fourth running back behind Thomas, Ingram and Robinson. As an adept pass catcher, if anything were to happen to Thomas, however, Cadet may be the most likely running back to benefit given the receiving role Thomas primarily occupies. As such, he may be worth a stash in deep PPR leagues and those rewarding points for return yardage, but he has little fantasy value as it stands now otherwise.
