Brown was released by the Chargers on Saturday, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports. Brown has missed all action, practice and games alike, since straining his calf on the second day of training camp. However, after recording 41 receptions (on 69 targets) for 472 yards and one touchdown last season, he'll likely find a home before the regular season commences.
