Randle suffered a rib injury during Saturday's preseason loss at Miami, Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News reports. Randle's sole contribution of note was a tackle on the kickoff following the Cowboys' first scoring drive late in the first quarter. As a result, he didn't have the opportunity to factor into the rushing attack, thereby allowing Ryan Williams to handle the second-half reps out of the backfield, to great effect (12 carries for 47 yards and two catches for 22 yards). Consider Randle day-to-day until the severity of the injury is evident.
