Cadet gained 16 yards on five carries and caught two passes for 22 yards in Friday's preseason game against the Titans. He also returned one kickoff for 26 yards. Cadet appears locked in as the Saints' fourth running back. While he's unlikely to see much action on the ground - Mark Ingram and Khiry Robinson are expected to carry much of that workload - he could see some opportunities as a third-down back when Pierre Thomas needs a breather. Still, absent injury, he doesn't project to be a significant fantasy contributor in standard leagues. Cadet does, however, appear to be the most likely candidate to fill the departed Darren Sproles' role as the Saints' primary kick returner, which could give him some sneaky value in leagues that reward return yardage.
