Smith left Saturday's preseason game with a chest injury, and X-rays came back negative, The Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec reports. After landing awkwardly while trying to break up a pass, Smith went to the locker room for X-rays. The Ravens are already thin at cornerback, as the team lacks proven depth behind Smith and Lardarius Webb (back), the latter of whom has yet to play this preseason. Smith's negative X-ray is an excellent sign for the Ravens, but the team is still in a precarious position at cornerback. In addition to Webb and Smith, projected No. 3 corner Asa Jackson missed Saturday's game with a foot injury.
