Roethlisberger played just one drive in Saturday's preseason opener against the Giants, completing one of his two passes for 46 yards. Roethlisberger threw a quick screen to rookie running back Dri Archer, who wasted no time getting 46 yards up the field. The Steelers lost Emmanuel Sanders and Jericho Cotchery in the offseason, but they added a couple of receiving threats in Archer and fourth-round wide receiver Martavis Bryant. Arguably more important than the additions, the Steelers are expecting Markus Wheaton to step up after a quiet rookie season. Wheaton and Antonio Brown are listed as the starters on the initial depth chart, with Moore -- or perhaps Justin Brown -- expected to serve as the third receiver. The Steelers finally acquired a big red-zone threat in the 6-4 Bryant, but it's unclear what kind of role, if any, the rookie will have this season. While the Pittsburgh receiving corps looks rather shaky, the team should have better backs and linemen than they did the past few seasons. Still, as has been the case for years now, Roethlisberger doesn't have much to work with compared to other comparably talented quarterbacks.
