LaFell had a strong practice Tuesday, with quarterback Tom Brady noting that the veteran wideout "made a lot of plays out there" during the team's workout, ESPN.com reports.
While LaFell presumably slots in behind Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola in both real and fantasy terms, his 6-2, 210-pound frame adds a different element to the Patriots' offense that the aforementioned duo does and as long as the 6-3, 200-pound Aaron Dobson is hobbled, LaFell remains in the team's No. 3 wideout equation, along with Kenbrell Thompkins.

Amendola will get hurt in the 1st quarter of the first game then we'll see what he can do.
