Bills coach Doug Marrone revealed Sunday that DT Marcell Dareus opened camp on active/PUP because he couldn't pass the team's conditioning tests. The Bills were the first team to open training camp when they took the field Sunday evening. Dareus was placed on the active/PUP list Saturday. It should only be a day-to-day situation, but is another red flag on Dareus following his May arrest for possession of synthetic marijuana. He's also consistently late to team meetings. Although Dareus is a Pro Bowl-caliber performer when focused, the Bills have to be growing wary of signing him to a high-dollar long-term extension. They do have Dareus under control for the next two seasons.
