49ers signed FB Bruce Miller to a three-year contract extension through 2017. According to ESPN's Bill Williamson, the deal makes Miller one of the highest-paid fullbacks in the league. Miller was one of the league's best lead blockers in 2013, and also caught a career-high 25 passes. He's one of coach Jim Harbaugh's favorite players.
