ESPN.com's Michael Rothstein considers the Lions a possible landing spot for free agent Luke McCown. The Lions are looking for an experienced backup behind Matthew Stafford and McCown has ties to OC Joe Lombardi after spending last season with the Saints. Re-signing Shaun Hill is another possibility. McCown has a career 68.3 quarterback rating and should only require a veteran-minimum contract.
