ESPN Titans reporter Paul Kuharsky projects Dexter McCluster to fill the Danny Woodhead role in Ken Whisenhunt's offense. Woodhead was Whiz's passing back in San Diego, erupting for 76 catches, 429 rushing yards and eight total touchdowns last season. We'd be surprised if McCluster had the same success. He's 30 pounds lighter than Woodhead and is more of a slot receiver than a check-down option in the passing game. McCluster is not going to get 106 carries like Woodhead did.

Um, Dexter McCluster is not really that good. He goes down as soon as he's touched....never breaks a tackle. He's supposed to be fast but on a crossing pattern gets caught from behind by a linebacker. In his entire career with the Chiefs I never saw him look remotely good out of the backfield. Woodhead is small too but he is a +pass blocker and when he runs, he runs strong. McCluster has none of those qualities.
