Speaking Monday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said it's "too early" to discuss the contract status of Miles Austin and DeMarcus Ware. Due $5.5 million next season, Austin is widely expected to be a post-June 1 cut. Slated to earn a combined $26 million over the next two years, Ware is expected to restructure. Jones is unfailingly loyal to players he discovered and cultivated, but there would be zero sense in bringing the soon-to-be 30-year-old Austin back for 2014. Constantly battling hamstring injuries, Austin was a complete non-factor this season, while Terrance Williams is waiting in the wings as a replacement.
