Matt Ryan completed 37-of-48 passes for 348 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions in Monday night's Week 16 loss to the 49ers. Ryan played phenomenal football on Monday night. It was mostly a catch-and-release game for him, like it always is with this turnstile offensive line he plays behind, but Ryan was extremely accurate. One interception came on a tipped ball that was returned for a game-sealing pick-six, while the final pick was on a last-second Hail Mary into the end zone. Matty Ice's first touchdown pass, a 39-yard strike to Roddy White, was a thing of beauty. Ryan dropped it right into White behind two defenders. The second score came on a broken play to Tony Gonzalez. Considering the cards Ryan has been dealt this season, he's played admirably. He and the 4-11 Falcons will wrap up their season with the Panthers next Sunday.
