Alfred Morris rushed 12 times for just 31 yards in Washington's lopsided Week 14 loss to the Chiefs. The wheels are coming off in Washington, where the Redskins bafflingly never committed to their elite back on the ground despite snowy conditions. The Chiefs did commit to the run game as they raced to a 31-0 lead just 20 minutes into the game. Coach Mike Shanahan and his kid OC Kyle stubbornly stuck with the pass, and it got the Redskins nowhere fast. With the Redskins' season in the toilet and play-calling in the gutter, Morris can't be trusted as more than a mid-range RB2 for the final two weeks of the fantasy playoffs despite his fantastic season up to this point.

Morris, CJ?K, or Andre Brown? I have Forte as my RB1.

Can he be trusted this week vs a weak Atlanta defense? Plus if RG3 is benched maybe they lean on Morris a little more?

My other options are Andre Brown, but he's playing seattle. I also have Zac Stacy.

The Shanahan's are the two biggest dumbasses I've ever had the displeasure of watching coach. Alf is an elite talent and they waste him almost every week.

I agree, Morris is a blue collar back, a lot like Frank Gore.

rAdvent Sun 12/8/13 11:06 PM

Exactly. They try and get too cute or something with their play calling when they need to lean more on Morris with inside runs.

Kirk Cousins is the answer to our fantasy woes. RG can start afresh next year but for now we need Alfred in the Bat Cave, now!

rAdvent Mon 12/9/13 9:54 PM

Yeah sometimes I think what if Cousins was in all season

It looks like Father and Son Shanahan want to go and Redskins owner Daniel Snyder is keeping them there in Redskins coaching staff due to monetary concerns.
