Jordy Nelson caught seven passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday night's Week 8 win over the Vikings. Nelson was targeted a team-high eight times and played the slot in the majority of three-wide sets. He scored on a contested 11-yard pass on the Packers first drive of the game and later had a 76-yard catch-and-run over the middle of the field for his second touchdown. Nelson has 278 yards and four touchdowns over his last three games and is locked in as an every-week WR1.

well since nobody's commenting… Jordy is awesome. Idk about the rest of the owners but i picked him up in the 5th round of our draft (probably due to him having knee surgery right before the season) and he's making me look real good. Dude has some of the best hands in the league and his body control is other-worldly.

I just traded for him yesterday due to injuries on my team and I agree with you on his hands. I gave up Le'veon Bell and a late 1st round pick next year in our dynasty league. Feel like I came out on top since I have McCoy and Forte still on my team.

He kind of fell out of favor at draft time, I think because people were higher on Cobb and they thought that Nelson was a disappointment last year. Now that Cobb is out of the picture, Nelson's value is all the much higher.

No question that the injury to Cobb improved Nelsons fantasy value, but Nelson was a very good receiver even before he became the lone (starting, week-one) pass-castcher left. Nelson was better that avg. draft position before injuries and is way better now. Make him a keeper.

same here. 5th rounder making me look like a rockstar.

Same. Jordy and Forte almost make me look like a genius showing up to my draft with the top 200 printout from espn while 2000 gigawatts are running through everyone elses ipads, iphones, laptops, and cellphones like they are at the NFL draft live. Nothing better than looking down your team list and seeing top 5 all the way down while be cursed out at the bar every week.

Got him in the seventh, in a keeper league, so really the eighth round. . . When my pick came up, I had just made up my mind over whether I should select a TE or an RB4. Then it hit me, and I said it out loud- "wait a minute, no one took Jordy Nelson yet?" The next 4 guys behind me in the draft let out sighs of disappointment, as they were all praying that no one noticed. haha suckers.

He fell all the way to the 9th in my league so I scooped him up. Everybody was down on him because of the knee surgery and Cobb. I have to say even before Cobbs was hurt he was still a solid WR2
