Good to see him getting the crunch time carries, but only 13 touches isnt good enough for a guy who ranks 11th in fantasy

buccanoles Tue 10/8/13 7:25 AM

Him not getting touches cost me last night. I went in with a 4 point lead and he got outscored by Osi by 6 to cost me the week by a stinking point and a half!

Mr-Bob-Dobalina Tue 10/8/13 11:30 AM

Agreed. I have him and Lamar Miller on my roster while Steven Jackson is out injured, and the two of them have been very unreliable. I suppose this is why they say that you need to draft high-end RBs as soon as you can while drafting.

hes been doing well this year for ftps though, i think because ivory was back they were testing their waters. also atl sucks this year for some reason they could split carries. still have faith lol

Im not dumping him by any means, but want to see more from him

His splitting carries cost me. I lost by .2 pts

John9williams Thu 10/10/13 2:32 AM

I think he will get more. He is the one back that has upside. We know who Chris Ivory and Mike Goodson are. He has produced when he gets consistent touches.

MustangGuy6 Thu 10/10/13 8:40 AM

That's what I'm most worried about. He has good production when he gets consistent touches. If they switch to a running back by committee and Powell sees only 50% carries it could really hurt his fantasy value. Who knows what the jets will do? They seemed to stick with him when it counted, hopefully a good sign.

kkyang7133 Thu 10/10/13 10:37 AM

The Jets know he is their most reliable runner but also realize he doesn't have the flashes and glitter of the other two guys. I think it will be 50% Powell and 50% Ivory/Goodson. He is still their go to guy when they desperately needs that extra yard or get into the end zone. And I think, that's the key, the end zone.

MustangGuy6 Thu 10/10/13 11:44 AM

Problem is, he has only found the endzone once in 5 weeks. Not a good sign to me. His points were coming from yards and receptions, not TDs. And now his stats are going to take a hit with a committee system, his points will significantly drop. UNLESS he starts finding the endzone more than once every 5 weeks, he will drop from a sure starter to a risky starter. I am thinking of starting Stacy this week over Powell.

Deangelo, Powell, mcgahee, trich pick 3. Unless you think blackmon is a better flex, than pick 2.

MustangGuy6 Thu 10/10/13 11:52 PM

T Rich and Deangelo would be my first choices. flex is a toss up, cross your fingers and hope you pick the right one.
