The Oakland Press doesn't expect CB Ronald Bartell to make the 53-man roster. Bartell opened training camp with the first-team defense, but missed significant time due to a shoulder injury and is now behind second-round rookie Darius Slay. He has a base salary of $1 million this season and is the Lions' fourth cornerback. Bartell, 30, could draw some interest on waivers if released.
